Between sizes? If your baby is right on the border between two sizes, size up. Premature babies grow fast and you’ll get more wear out of the larger size.

Designed for the tiniest babies, including those in the NICU or special care unit. Garments in this range feature soft fabrics that won’t irritate delicate skin and are easy to put on around tubes and monitoring equipment.
Best for: Babies born very early, babies still in the neonatal unit, micro preemies

Premature (3–5lb)

Best for: Babies born 28–35 weeks, babies coming home from the NICU, early arrivals

Best for: Babies born late premature (35–37 weeks), small full-term babies, babies coming home for the first time

Not a weight-based size, these are garments specifically designed for babies in incubators and neonatal units. Features include front-opening or wrap-around styles, snap fastenings for easy access, and ultra-soft fabrics. Available in sizes from 1.5lb.
Best for: Babies currently in NICU or special care, babies on monitoring equipment or with lines
